This page explains what personal information this website collects, why, and what you can do about it. It's written to reflect what this site actually does — not a generic template.
Protection Dogs GR, operating this website at protectiondogs.gr, based in Greece. For any privacy question or request, contact contact@protectiondogs.gr.
When you use the contact form or the blog subscribe form: your name, email address, phone number (if provided), and whatever you write in the message field. This is sent to and processed by Formspree, a third-party form-handling service, and delivered to my email inbox. Formspree has its own privacy policy covering how they handle that data in transit.
Automatically, via Google Analytics: this site uses Google Analytics (Google's gtag.js) to understand how visitors use the site — pages viewed, general location (country/region level), device type, and how you arrived here. This involves cookies and similar tracking technology. Google's own privacy policy covers how they process this data.
A small local storage flag: if a site announcement banner is shown, dismissing it saves a simple yes/no flag in your browser's local storage so it doesn't reappear. This contains no personal information and never leaves your device.
Third-party embedded content: this site embeds a testimonial widget (testimonial.to) and an Instagram feed (via Elfsight). These are loaded from third-party servers when you view the relevant page section, and those providers may set their own cookies or collect data according to their own privacy policies.
I do not sell your information to anyone. I do not use it for anything beyond what's described here.
Contact form submissions are kept as long as needed to handle your inquiry and any resulting relationship, then deleted when no longer relevant. Analytics data is retained according to Google Analytics' standard retention settings.
If you're in the EU/EEA or UK, you have the right under GDPR to ask what personal data I hold about you, request a copy of it, ask for it to be corrected or deleted, and object to how it's used. To exercise any of these, email contact@protectiondogs.gr.
This site uses cookies primarily through Google Analytics. You can control or disable cookies through your browser settings at any time. Doing so may affect some site functionality but won't prevent you from browsing or contacting me.
If what this site collects or how it's used changes meaningfully, this page will be updated with a new "last updated" date above.
